Safety in our nursery in Vicenza

Safety is a distinctive element of the Bio Pappamondo Bilingual Nursery. The educators have obtained the "Pediatric unblocking" certificate from the Vicenza Red Cross (click here to see the certificates).

In addition to the legal requirements, measures were then adopted to increase both the physical safety of the environments and that relating to the procedures envisaged for the management of the various activities that take place inside the nursery. All the furniture was provided by Gonzaga Arredi, a leading company in the production of nursery furniture. For example, inside the nursery school, sockets, switches and handles are positioned above a height of 120 cm.

The temperature of the water coming out of the taps cannot exceed 38 °. Non-toxic materials have been used for all objects or surfaces in contact with children including floors, coatings, enamels and paints. In addition, corner protectors have been installed where necessary. Outside, a separation fence has been placed between the garden and the parking area, corner protectors where necessary and gates / railings for French windows In addition to this, two emergency exits have been created, a detector system has been installed of smoke, an alarm system, an anti-flooding system

Finally, 4 external closed circuit cameras monitor the internal and external structure both day and night.

The adoption of the HACCP system offers precise guarantees in terms of food safety. In addition to this, particular attention is paid to allergies with the adoption of specific protocols capable of guaranteeing all the steps in the food preparation process.
